Teams help raise funds for childrens’ charities (link to Meet the Kids) by collecting donations from family, friends and co-workers. Our on-line donation system (link to Donate to Kids) makes it easy for you to do this. You’ll make a difference in the lives of less-fortunate children (and be eligible for great prizes (link to Prizes).

With space for only 64 teams, don’t delay to register your team (link to Register). The three ice surfaces at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium Complex are booked from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and time slots are awarded on a first-come first-served basis. If you are hoping to play on the main Kitchener Auditorium ice, or hope to secure a specific time slot, you have to act now, so make sure to register right away.

This one game challenge style tournament has provided many entertaining and competitive hockey games, while raising funds for charities and other worthwhile causes in our community and throughout the world. Participants are encouraged to raise funds throughout the community and prizes are awarded on a team and an individual player basis based on the amounts raised. Over the 24 years of this event, over $2 million has been raised!

Skate 48 is hosted by the Rotary Club of Kitchener-Grand River.
